Augusta, GeorgiaApril 5, 2017 – Rendition Infosec, the nation’s leading provider of information security solutions and consultation, today announced that company founder Jake Williams will be teaching SANS Institute’s most advanced course, Advanced Exploit Development  for Penetration Testers (SEC760) at this year’s annual SANS conference taking place in Orlando, Florida on April 7 – 14, 2017.

“Rendition is excited to be participating on so many levels at this year’s SANS conference,” says Williams.  “And it’s a distinct honor to be paired with so many leading tech luminaries.  We look forward to interacting and strategizing with other market influencers, while further establishing Rendition’s emerging leadership position within the information security ecosystem.”

Williams is a contributing author on the course and is one of only two instructors in the world that are currently certified to teach it.  The course teaches advanced students how to audit their software and locate bugs in web browsers, operating systems, and custom written Windows and Linux applications.  Being the most advanced class, the course is run in a “boot camp” format that runs every day from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., with the last day running from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

“Success breeds success and the SANS attendee base is comprised of some of the world’s most successful professionals that are working to transform the information security industry,” continues Williams.  “Professionals come to SANS not as just students and instructors, but as willing participants that are interested in the value of peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and contributing to the future development of the industry.”

The SANS Institute was established in 1989 as a cooperative research and education organization. Its programs now reach more than 165,000 security professionals around the world. A range of individuals from auditors and network administrators, to chief information security officers are sharing the lessons they learn and are jointly finding solutions to the challenges they face. At the heart of SANS are the many security practitioners in varied global organizations from corporations to universities working together to help the entire information security community.

SANS is the most trusted and by far the largest source for information security training and security certification in the world.  It also develops, maintains, and makes available at no cost, the largest collection of research documents about various aspects of information security, and it operates the Internet’s early warning system – the Internet Storm Center.
